Grid trading education & simulation

See the result closest to what you'd really get — before risking real money on a grid bot.

Make your mistakes here, not on the exchange.

GridLab is a grid-trading education and simulation platform. Practice grid and signal bots on live exchange prices with a virtual balance, with the fees, slippage, funding and liquidation a real exchange would apply.

Mistakes that cost money

What GridLab shows you before it costs you

Most grid bots don't fail on bad luck. They fail on a handful of setup mistakes, and every one of them can be spotted on paper.

Range too tight

Price leaves the band and the bot sits idle.

GridLab shows: a setup warning when the current price is outside the range, and watch alerts for “price outside band” and “accepted breakout”.

Trend turns, bot keeps buying

A long grid keeps averaging into a falling market.

GridLab shows: watch alerts when the 6h direction flips, the trend strengthens, the center drifts or the EMA turns against you.

No exit plan

The bot runs until the market decides for you.

GridLab shows: strategy cards: shrink after time, close after time, inventory cap and low-movement timeout.

Too much leverage

One move and the position is liquidated.

GridLab shows: a warning when, with all lines filled, the liquidation price falls inside the range; maintenance-margin liquidation is simulated.

Grid too dense

Fees eat most of each grid step's price margin.

GridLab shows: a warning when the grid step is too narrow; maker and taker fees are charged separately.

Thin-liquidity pairs

Paper fills look better than the real order book allows.

GridLab shows: a low-liquidity warning that results there may be optimistic.

No API keys. No deposits. No risk.

GridLab only reads public market data. It never holds funds, never asks for exchange keys and never sends an order to an exchange.

Why GridLab

One question behind every feature: what would really happen?

A simulation is only useful for learning if its numbers are honest. GridLab is built on three pillars.

Realism

Every simulated fill is priced the way the exchange would price it.

  • Grid lines fill as limit orders: maker fee, at the line price
  • Initial position, stop, TP/SL and manual close are market orders: taker fee + slippage
  • Funding fees and maintenance-margin liquidation
  • Binance's order-quantity formula with tick and step rounding

Zero risk

Nothing to connect, nothing to lose.

  • No exchange account, no API keys, no deposit
  • The server only reads public market data
  • No order is ever sent to an exchange
  • Live bot platforms usually need your exchange API keys; GridLab never does

Understanding

Tools that explain what is happening. You decide.

  • Strategy suggestions with evidence labels
  • Bot watch alerts and a nightly report
  • Backtests and the same pair on 8 exchanges side by side
  • Signal bots with futures positions, driven by TradingView alerts, Telegram or API
Realism

How GridLab prices every fill

The model follows how futures grid bots actually execute, including each exchange's own rules, and says openly what it does not model.

What it does not model
  • Order-book queue position and depth: a limit order fills once price crosses its line
  • On thin, low-liquidity pairs real fills can be worse; GridLab flags such pairs because results there may be optimistic
  • Exchange outages and order rejections

Who it's for

Made for people who practice before they trade

New to grid bots

Learn ranges, grid counts and leverage on a virtual balance before your first real bot.

Binance bot users

Same quantity formula and fee structure as Binance's futures grid bot. Test a setup before you use it.

Signal and strategy builders

Send TradingView alerts, Telegram commands or API calls and watch futures positions open and close with real costs.

Exchange comparers

Run the same pair on data from Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, Gate, KuCoin, MEXC and Kraken.

Educators and communities

Show how a grid behaves on the live market, with nobody's money at stake.

FAQ

Questions people ask

What is GridLab?

GridLab is a grid-trading education and simulation platform. You practice grid and signal bots on live market prices with a virtual balance, and see what a setup would do, including fees, funding and liquidation, before using real money anywhere.

How close are the results to a real exchange?

Grid line fills are limit orders charged the maker fee at the line price; the initial position and stop, TP/SL or manual closes are market orders with taker fee and slippage. Funding and maintenance-margin liquidation are applied, quantities follow Binance's formula with tick/step rounding, and each exchange's contract rules are used. Order-book queue position is not modeled, so thin pairs can look better than reality; GridLab warns about those.

Do I need to connect my exchange account?

No. GridLab never asks for exchange API keys or deposits. The server only reads public market data.

Is GridLab free?

Yes. Every account gets a 6-day full trial, then a Free tier that stays free forever: 1 active grid bot, Binance data, 30-day backtest and Telegram notifications. Paid plans start at $10/month; checkout is not open yet.

Is GridLab an exchange or investment service?

No. GridLab is an education and simulation platform: it holds no funds, places no orders on any exchange, does not trade on your behalf and does not provide investment advice.
